These terms cover your use of www.ameready.com and our courses, the AME CARs Crash Course and Human Factors for AMEs ("the courses"), offered by AMEReady, operated by Dan Kennedy, British Columbia, Canada. By creating an account or buying a course, you agree to these terms.

1. What you get

AME CARs Crash Course: 90 days of self-paced online access, starting when you join the course. It includes 10 Parts with video lessons, 83 review questions, 5 × 50-question practice exams, a CARs Quick Reference Index and a certificate of completion.

Human Factors for AMEs: 12 months of self-paced online access, starting when you join the course. It includes 8 video lessons, each with a short quiz, a 50-question final exam and a certificate of completion when you pass the final exam. The course is built to the human factors content requirements of Standard 573.06(3). Your AMO decides how it fits into its own training program.

• The courses are study and training aids. AMEReady is not Transport Canada, isn't affiliated with Transport Canada, and doesn't set, see or grade the REGS exam. Always check the official requirements (Standard 566, TP 14038) and book your exam through Transport Canada.

• We update content from time to time to keep it accurate. We don't guarantee that every question will match the real exam.

2. Price and payment

• AME CARs Crash Course (one person): the price shown at checkout, in Canadian dollars. The founding price is $49 CAD for the first 50 apprentices, then $79 CAD.

• Human Factors for AMEs (one person): the price shown at checkout, in Canadian dollars. The founding price is $68 CAD for the first 50 buyers, then $99 CAD.

• CARs group plans: Small Group (up to 6 people, $149 CAD) and Crew (up to 15 people, $259 CAD), one-time payments. After purchase, submit each participant's name and email at www.ameready.com/add-your-team any time within 2 years of purchase. Each person gets their own 90 days of access from the day they're added. Seats not used within 2 years expire and have no cash value.

• Human Factors team plans: Team (up to 10 people, $249 CAD a year) and Hangar (up to 25 people, $499 CAD a year) renew automatically each year until cancelled. Cancel anytime, and your current year stays active until it ends. Each person gets 12 months of access from the day they're added. Seats you don't use in a year roll over to the next year once, if your plan renews. Rolled-over seats can't roll over again, end if the plan isn't renewed, and have no cash value.

• Payment is taken in full at checkout and processed by Wix. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Any applicable taxes (such as GST/PST) are added at checkout if required.

3. No refunds

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, including partial refunds or refunds for unused access, except where the law requires it. For the AME CARs Crash Course, we offer the Pass-or-Extend Guarantee below instead.

4. Pass-or-Extend Guarantee (AME CARs Crash Course, extension only)

Our guarantee, as stated on our site:

Score 80%+ on our practice exams, and if you don't pass the REGS exam, send us a copy of your failed exam result and get another 90 days free.

How it works:

• What you get: another 90 days of course access at no charge. The guarantee is an access extension only; it is never a refund or credit.

• To qualify:

• you scored 80%+ on our practice exams, and

• you wrote the Transport Canada REGS exam while your AME CARs Crash Course access was active and didn't pass.

• To claim: email amereadyca@gmail.com from your account email with a copy of your failed exam result. You can hide personal details other than your name, the exam and the result. Send it within 30 days of the date of your failed exam.

• Limits:

• One free extension per student per purchase.

• Group members claim individually.

• The extension can't be transferred or exchanged for money.

5. Your account

• You must be at least 16 to use the courses. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and make the purchase.

• Access is for you only. Don't share your login or course materials. Group seats are one person per seat.

• We may suspend access if an account is shared, abused or used to copy content.

6. Our content

All videos, questions, exams, guides and other materials belong to AMEReady. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, resell, post or share them.

7. Free resources

Free practice questions, the REGS Pass Plan, the CARs Quick Reference Index, free previews and blog posts are offered "as is" for general information.

8. Limitation of liability

• We work hard to keep the courses accurate. To the extent the law allows, AMEReady isn't liable for exam results, lost time or income, or indirect damages.

• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course the claim relates to.

• The courses aren't a substitute for the official regulations. Your employer or AMO decides what training it requires and how it uses our courses.

9. Changes and availability

• We may update the courses, these terms or our prices. Changes won't reduce access you've already paid for.

• The site runs on third-party services (Wix). Brief outages can happen.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
